lower fork service: What alternatives to the Slick Honey / SRAM Butter rip off?

As mentioned in a another post, I have just done a lower fork service (two, in fact) so I need to replace my stash of Sram Butter / Slick Honey fork grease. Obviously , it is a very special lube, mined from a single cave on a long lost island, and can only be harvested at midnight. But 12 quid for 30 ml! I know oil prices are going up - but there must be something out there that can be used. Or am I just being tight? I am a pensioner, don't you know
