Can you see it wobbling or does it just feel like it is?

If the whole arm is moving it can't be the spider because then it would just be the rings that wobble.

If the axle was broken it would creak a hell of a lot as the crack propagates.

If you can see it wobbling it can only be the DS bearings, I cant think of anything else it could be.

If you can't see it wobbling but can feel it then it could be the pedal.

There used to be a machined on lock ring keeping the spider on on some HT2 cranks. You could tighten it a bit with a chisel and a hammer, and knocking it round a bit to nip up the slack. Have a look at that matey.

Sounds like the axle / drive-side crank press fit has become loose. Which is probably the end of the cranks.

On most (all?) HT2 cranks, the axle runs through to the outside of the drive-side crank. I would think you'd be able to feel movement by sticking a finger into the axle whilst trying to move the end of the crank. But take em apart and have a look, it's a 2 minute job.
