My bikes need cleaned. Two and a half done so far, two and a half still needing done, plus both cars need washed, polished and hoovered - £20 to do the lot?

Seriously though, maybe better to say where you're based and how far away you'd travel for the work?

Are you on My Builder?

Seems like a good way for decent builders to advertise themselves. Think about what generates good feedback and make sure that's what your clients get. Assuming you do good work, throw in honesty, punctuality, reliability, politeness and tidiness, and you'll be set.

What customers want is cheap, not to have to pay, and ask for the vat that ive paid to be knocked off.

Oh and i dont really care that a bloke you met down the pub will do the job for a tenner and free tea, has no training, hardly any tools, hasnt done a 4 year aprenticeship, etc etc.

Sorry for the rant hijack.Best wishes on finding work, as theres little out there in building oop here.
