Nicolai Argon Road. I presume you've already lost your bottom cherry? Otherwise you're about to - something tells me that won't be too forgiving... ๐Ÿ˜€

Oh dear god, I thought my chameleon was "direct", stays like might make the power transfer that muchmore efficient, but I don't think the word "comfortable" will be applicable without a negative...

Nicolai ownership feels special. And I think mines the only singlespeed specced one in the UK, they're a cool bunch.

That welding is beautiful. No wonder they don't grind it down.

Looks like it can be swapped for sliding but non drive side it vertical. ๐Ÿ˜•

I'd recommend some silicone spray to keep it clean. I use stuff the printers use it's very light. You might find the finish appears to stain but I found Muc-off applied with a brush keeps it like new, then a light coating of this spray keeps it clean for ages.

The dropout is to allow perfect wheel alignment (apparently)

surely if you need to adjust a drop out to align a wheel then your rear triangle is mangled - and even then once youve compensated for the rear triangle being out, the centre line would still be out? No?

I don't think you'll get any weld fatigue cracks on that! Sort of standard of welding I can relate to www.peterflynnclassiccars.com. Nice workmanship but it looks like a harsh ride to me...

Nope, doesn't do it for me....looks a bit agricultural which IMHO isn't so in keeping with road bikes.
