Can anyone tell me if Time shoes are compatible with Shimano SPD pedals? Been recommended these:

as possible "beginner shoes", but am unsure if they will fit with M520s & can't seem to find any conclusive info. They look really good value as a "try it out" shoe, but don't want to order unnecessarily.
I am a complete and utter beginner in this, so apologise for any daft questions ...
Thanks in advance!
Hi there,
Any MTB shoe will work with any MTB pedal, and it's the same with Road shoes.
It's the cleats that come with the pedals that are the important bit.
Those shoes will work with the M520 pedal.
Hope that helps.
Fantastic - that's what I wanted to hear. I was originally looking for some cheap S/H shoes as a try out, but these are so cheap that they are worth a try.
Thank you!
Put a wee lick of grease on the screws that hold the cleat on so they are easier to get off in future.
Cheers! Order completed ... 2 pairs ordered so I can at least choose the correct size and return the others ... have dithered about clipless for many years, but will probably be just going up and down the road for the time being. Am vaguely terrified, but it needs to be done ๐
May hate it, may love it: an itch that needs to be scratched (or grazed as the case may be!).
Good luck. You know it makes sense.
On thing though; will they let you return a sale item?
No problems - just called to check! Thanks for the heads up though.
I will no doublt be asking for tips on how not to fall off with clipless pedals soon, although I see there are already a few threads like this kicking around!
25 quid! Good grief.
Possible birthday present sorted - thanks!
Yeh wish I has smaller feet and I am male ๐
Shoes apparently already dispatched 1st class Royal Mail ... hopefully arriving tomorrow.
2/3 off RRP makes the cynic in me wonder if there is something weird about the shoes, but they look OK and could just be a bargain ...
I will post and give some feedback on them ASAP - seem like a great deal, but I need to see them in the flesh and try them on first. They seem to have quite a lot in stock, but I'm sure this won't last too long.
