I need to get a product made by Millers Oils 'Millway 100' slideway oil, to use in my DT Swiss forks. I don't want to buy a big drum! All I need is a 1Litre bottle, but it's proving difficult...

Ask them for a sample? Might be enough for requirements?

I do also know that they sell it in 1Litre bottles, but it's finding someone that stocks it (they have the usual min.order quantity)...

Do you really need to use it?
Just like fox suspension oil, alternatives (which fox just rebrand) are available.

this is the problem with manufactures using an industrial oil... in its normally application people are quite used to buying 25-100litres..

I know I could use alternatives, however, I just want to try and use the right stuff! I can't get what DT recomend (Motorex Supergliss 100K) in this country, so I want to go for the exact equivalent in terms of viscosity etc (and I know Pace are using Millers as well!).

I just want to ensure longlife for the forks, and I'm sure x,y,z similar oils will be fine, but.......

Really?

these oils (Millway, Supergliss) are not automotive but industrial - used for lathe/mill slideways? Also I found for motorsport stuff Demon Tweeks expensive

anyhow as above you can def get the thinner Millway 68 in 1litre tubs

you might be able to get a small sample from Morris oils of their Astra 100 - email them.
