Hi
Bit of a longshot - does anyone who has a QR equipped Fox 36 fancy swapping to Kabolt-X? Needing an allen key every time I want to take the front wheel out to put it in the car is a pain, QR is much easier...
Failing a swap, does anyone have the part numbers to hand for doing the conversion?

Just done exactly the same swap my self this week.
Yes they're the correct parts (The quick release can be found on the tri-sport eBay store for £34.99 at the moment)

I've got one fork of each, wanted to swap the lowers so that the QR was on my main bike, but in the end decided to live with it. Just bought a nice 6mm allen key to keep with me 🙂
Those parts look like they'd do the conversion - bloody price of the axle though, hardly worth it!
I already had the QR thankfully but I noticed it on the tri-sport site as it was originally listed for just £16.99!
Someone must have noticed their error shortly after as it was changed to £34.99 the following day.
Hmm, I might have a spare axle... I've got one on some forks I was going to sell. Can they convert the other way: QR-> Kabolt ?

QR can be converted to Kabolt - I think you need the pinch bolts, axle and shim and it bolts up.
Ah man, your thread has gone and cost me £140! I went looking for axle parts and saw the NA3 air shaft... Glidecore don'tchaknow!

No 170mm option... so that's saved me some money.

Yeah, and non-Fox options are available as well (eg Burgtec).
Possible bargains at Stiff if you fancy the Burgtec version of KaboltX.
Once my QR bits turn up I will probably be putting it on here for cheap 🙂
