Anyone know what the Long Mynd conditions are like recently.
Specifically Minton Batch after the summer rains.
Heading up there this week and wondered if Minton Batch was best avoided and do some of the other stuff instead

Cheers

Speak to Al at Plush Hill Cycles in Church Stretton. he will be able to tell you where's good and where's not.

The worst bit at the top has a boardwalk now so it's generally fine, forecast is for rain so you'll get wet.

Got the annual dusk till dawn ride there on Saturday night, Cardington to Bridges and back again, gonna be a mucky one I think.

Done it last night. Minton Batch was a bit of a state. Have done it loads before, but it was probs the worst so far.
The rest of the stuff was pretty dry though.
That was until the rain came about 9.40pm
Was going to finish in All Stretton, but came down Cardingmill.
It got dark really quick, which made it even better in a strange way.
Only saw 2 other bikers all night.
