Satisfying as it is squeezing thorns out the back of my hands for 2 weeks. Can anyone recommend a glove that stops gorse prickles?

No idea. Just have to put up with it! Have you ever had them at the knuckles? I have had it twice where they go in deep enough to stop the movement of the finger ever so slightly. I thought it was arthritis kicking in the first time then I noticed it going red before it popped out nice and easy.. leading to a free flowing finger. What a joy.
