Anyone know where you can pick this up from / inter-web ? Google has been pants this morning
(It's the green bearing retainer compound in the santa cruz bearing housings)

It's not very easy to come across
Try searching for a Permatex equivalent - 640 should do the job fine

specified by an american frame manufacturer by any chance? think 680 is US equivalent of 638.

ironically, the bearings kit via Stif cam with 2 little pouches of the 680...ho hum.
