just looking for an expierences of Loco tuning.Their prices look good compared to the competition. Not that impressed with TFT last time and would rather not use Mojo so will probably give them a go. And yes I know Loco posts on here ๐Ÿ˜€

Bought bits off him but not had him service anything as I like to DIY - top chap on the phone and much more interested in helping than TFT who seem to speak in cryptic riddles.

might be able to tell you soon. I blew a seal at the STW Weekender and Simon very kindly took my fork there and then. I got it back in the post fully serviced, but it's still sat on my workbench waiting for a new headset bearing before fitting.

Nice guy, if those kind of things matter to you

I've had parts and service done by Loco and next time I have suspension issues I cant do myself he (Simon) will be getting more of my custom or a friendly phonecall for advice.

Highly recommended.

Chatted to him at the Bristol Bike Jumble a while back - was a decent bloke and on that front will get business from me when I need it.

I wouldn't use anyone else now, very helpful on the phone, excellent turnaround times.I've had a set of coil u turn pikes serviced, and a set of Fox 36 float r's converted to Vanillas, most impressed with both.
HTH.

He fixed my Fox Float forks at the price of a regular service (I'd pinched an air seal, apparently). I have no complaints. ๐Ÿ˜€

Careful, he quite popular now, so wait times (appointment wise, not how long he takes) can be an issue ๐Ÿ˜
Very helpful, on here & the phone when I bought a seal kit from him though.
Never had an issue with TF though.

As above, bought a set of forks from him and have had my shock serviced there also. Great service and great help too.

Will be sending my other forks there when they need a service.

Great service and prices, perhaps too good as it was a 6 week wait for a slot when I had my forks & shock serviced ๐Ÿ™‚

There is a wait at the moment, but you can keep on riding your forks and shock until your kit is ready to be looked at ๐Ÿ™‚

In an ideal world, you'll know when your service intervals are, and book well in advance.

I'm a bit biased, as he does all my servcing work for me - but I couldn't imagine going anywhere else now, his QA and eye for detail is superb.

Plus, he's bonkers cheap.

And bonkers.

Top guy - great service; can't recommend him highly enough.
I bought a set of forks from the classifieds that needed a service but being a skint student couldn't afford to send it off. The service kit from LoCo was the cheapest I could find and he even talked me through a couple of the common pitfalls.
He will be the first person I'd call if getting my forks serviced/checked etc.

andyl - he is a man of the Valleys over that bridge thingy that goes West. He has had the jabs so can venture as far as Bristol on occasion, but is not a Bristolite.

I don't like him.

He made me ride 721km(climbing 2.5 everest from sea level) on a bike that he fiddled with. The forks needed special attention to do that sort of thing without wrecking my upper body.

He's fiddled and modded my suspension on lots of bikes and given me exactly what I've asked for- even when I wasn't really sure what I was asking for.

He's got Skillz.

There is a pre-booking wait for a reason. He's good. Very good.

Worth the wait.

Apparently he uses kittens tears instead of fox float fluid. Although I may have made that up.

Tidy.
And real helpful.
As well as just over the hill from home.
Just needs a bigger letterbox so I can drop stuff in after work/at weekend.
