The cassette lockring removal tool that I have won't fit over the axle of my King hub, is it crap or is there a specific lockring tool for King hubs?

iirc correctly Park do two different depth ones and Shimano do I am not sure how many. One of my Park ones has not been able to manage the reach but the other one and the 'mano did.
Think I found the problem when removing from Dura Aces 7850 carbon jobbers. I'd check but i'm in china so my shed is a little far away.
