I'm taking a friend off-roading for his first time on Sunday.
He's got a 'shopper special' mtb from the likes of Halfrauds and just wondering if it would stand up to a light pootle around the green route?
Cheers all

Yes. No problem. Even if it had bits hanging off it it would probably stand up to the green route.

Easily. You could do the Green as a taster loop and then go round the Blue which is not much more difficult - just a bit longer with a few easy berms, rollers and rougher sections on the initial climbs. There were plenty of children on cheaper bikes going round last w/e.

My 3 year old has done the green on his balance bike!
