Installed some of these on carbon bars on XC race bike. Went on easy looked good and worked well. Predictably a month further on and one became so loose had to replace with old lock on grip.
These use a double sided tape to secured grip. I have searched for a replacement tape that I can safely use on carbon bars with no luck. Even sent message to Lizard Skins - no response!
I am guessing this is a common problem and that there will be a good alternative. Have read about hairspray and other options. What I really want is a recommendation of one of the many double sided tapes available to use. I suspect that tape used for golf clubs may be of use?
