Any good? If so, any recommendations of things to ride/avoid? Debating adding it on to our August road trip.

Will be camping, so if anyone has any experience of the sites there (they don't seem to have embraced the internet), that would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

I've been snowboarding there, the only advice I can give you is do not eat at hotel sport!! It has a bar where you can go in via a slide

bump

Going there myself in 2 weeks- just got the Kompass 1:50000 for Livigno & Bormio region. Anyone done the (fairly obvious looking on the map) route from the lake via Lago di San Giacomo and the other artificial lake (can't remember the name of that) across to Bormio? How hard is it? Technical??

Camped there while cycle touring a few years ago in a large site just on the edge of town.

Don't remember much about it - fairly standard Euro campsite.
Look up Livigno on Google maps and search for camping, you'll find a couple of sites.

Appears to be a campsite at Via Palipert as well (might be the same place KCR mentioned...)
