YT not available on Cyclescheme and work won't consider alternatives. So is there anything to consider that is similar value but able to be purchased in UK? I think looking at comp spec.

I think you’ll struggle to find another bike with that spec just with an aluminium frame, let alone carbon.

Are Canyon / Radon on the scheme? If so they might be your best chance of carbon and similar spec to YT.

Next on the list you could look at a Cube Stereo 170 and maybe a Commencal.

Of the brands in the U.K. I just had a quick play on the Bird website and an AM160 for about £2850 would have GX / Lyrik Select RC / RS Deluxe Ultimate / Guide RE / DT Swiss e1900 wheels / Maxxis tyres / 170mm dropper.

Yeah need to have a closer look at Bird. Canyon in the same boat as YT, not seen Radon mentioned but suspect same problem (buying outwith UK). Will have a wee look at Cube and Nukeproof too.Ta.

Have you had a look at the Green Commute Initiative, similar to cycle2work but now £ limit and i'm sure that Canyon were available on there.

Cyclescheme does cover a lot of manufacturers when I looked at it tbf - I used my lbs to get a Cannondale road bike in a sale (had to pay a 10% premium to use cycle scheme on a sale bike but it was still circa £1200 for a £1700 rrp bike).

Bird take cyclescheme I’m pretty sure. Not sure if Airdrop do or not - the Edot v3 is an enduro bike too.

Cube stereo 170 did very well in a recent enduro bike of the year test in MBUK - although that was a £4K ish budget one covered in Fox Factory bling. Whyte g170 won it - but was again a high budget build - but presumably both of the above have slightly cheaper less bling builds.

Nukeproof Mega, probably better than the Capra for me, and available in loads of places.
