[#1810798]

Getting an aching botty at the 100 mile mark which because of all the jiggery pokey I have to do to keep comfortable upsets my pace.
I've used Flites since day one, but I guess my extra weight isn't helping and they are very rigid.
Don't say Brooks I will not suffer one no matter how good they look.
Looking along the lines of Aspides that sort of thing.
I do have a spare SLR saddle but it's Blue so wont fit.

Like in Plum velour with a gold fringe?

TBH I think it's the base, I've never really noticed how stiff the are.

Can you not get one with more Gel padding in there?

Again something that's a lot of do$h that you won't know is working until it's too late.

strip back the flites cover , thin down the base with a stanleeeey blade

rebuild up with some new high density foam , soak some leather , stretch over and glue ....

my mate does cracking rebuilds on flites similar to above (but more indepth) and creats a great bastard saddle that is awesome to sit on for hours !

i save it for extra long distances off road as its dying and hes moved a long long way away
