Can anyone recommend a lightweight waterproof that keeps the water out, is breathable, packs down small and is slim fitting. Oh, and it needs to be reasonably priced, not Gore prices! A lot to ask, I know...
I bought some waterproofs from Decathlon (bottoms only as I had top) for £14.99, not really slim fitting as such but worked a treat. I was bone dry under after what was quite frankly a tropical storm.
Edit: packs down into a tiny stuff bag also. Very lightweight.
I picked up a Montane Minimus last year for £85 when it was on sale at Chain Reaction. Good waterproofing, very light, packs incredibly small, and a nice slim fit (XL fits me very well at a skinny 6ft4/80kg). Not the most durable fabric if you take a fall, but durable and packable are pretty much mutually exclusive.
