Split the hose on my hope's as the bar's span round in the boot of the car.

What's the weight weenie brake hose of choice? Hope's hose is supposed to be quite light, but has steel fittings, are there any 'normal' hose kits with alloy fittings?

I don't need the light weight, but like nice things and had alloy fittings on an old bike with no issues ๐Ÿ™‚

Goodridge do alloy fittings that work with hope hose. And they're in pretty colours.

Do they fit the normal hope hose or just the braided ones?

Just the braided as far as I know.

Which weigh a ton, bit daft really!

IIRC Magura is about the lightest. Someone like Tune did do some though.

Not much in it with most plastic hoses.
