Hello,

Sorry to ask but I am after some light recommendations.

I've been to 2 LBS with around £125 to spend and have been offered;

One23 Reveal 2000:

Or Glo Worm CX Trail

http://www.glowormlites.co.nz/product/gloworm-cx-trail-1300-lumens/

Any other options to look at? I have a C&BSeen (4 or 5 years old now) at the moment but looking for something a bit better, is it worth spending a bit more? It is mainly for commuting but looking to do the odd night time ride and possible use the C&BSeen as a helmet light.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers, Steve

Recommend what you have - very happy with the two Fluxient lights I bought from Torchy (search for his eBay shop). Should work out a good bit under your budget too.

The 3000 Lumen C&BSeen is tempting, I just worry about the batteries on the cheaper lights.

Excellent light with good UK-based support, and under budget.

if you go for the gloworm, check which batch its from. I had to return several due to the charging connector failing, and eventually got a refund after waiting some time for a third replacement.

according to ISON/gloworm the latest batch have had this issue addressed.

Thanks for the information. I might give the gloworm a miss as I'm not sure I like the look of it.

Those MTB batteries ones look good, the thing that worried me about the C&BSeen is the waterproofing or lack of...

Brilliant light, best I've ever had and cheapest too. Self-contained.

My little show and tell.

What went wrong with yours jam bo? I've got one of the older X2's (1500lm not 1200lm, but the version before the newest one with different battery monitor) so would be interested to hear what problems you had.
