I have a set of these lights I bought last year off STW and last week I came out of work and went to turn them on, the first light came on and quickly went off again so I tried the second light and it did the same. Have checked the bulbs and they seem ok so what is the problem likely to be????? The battery was fully charged before I left work so it wasn't that either. Has my battery just packed in completely and if so is it possible to use a different make of battery as these are America and the battery will cost me a fortune to buy and ship here.

It is the S25 model

Multimeter the battery - with a 6v halogen system there isn't much else to go wrong. Assuming the battery has a fairly normal connector (just a +ve and -ve bit, no fancy controller connections) it'd be cheap to replace with a homebrew replacement if it's 6v NiMh.

Multi meter the battery there now and it is showing a reading of 0v so think I may have found the problem....

Battery is a 14.8v 4800mAH Li-Ion Battery. Anybody know where I would get something suitable?

Hi Scoobster,
If you havent already emailed me please do and we can take it further.

Ideally, it would be best to post me your battery and I can tell you where the fault lies in either the cells or circuit board.

Thanks for mention TJ 8)
