Anyone used them. Will I die?

Too good (cheap) to be true? £2.99/pair!

This should be a PSA.
Reviews seem very positive.
Give them a go and report back.
No SLX though so I'm stuffed.

Yep,

Using them in my BB5s, good and durable, unlike the old organic pads they replaced.

Choppersquad - I think set 9 fits all recent shimano brakes.

Aren't their Lifeline pads made by Ashima? Been using their road pads (for alloy and carbon) and they're as good as any other - their blue Carbon specifics look suspiciously like the pads Reynolds and Deda sell for their rims.

Bought some of the other Lifeline stuff and never had a problem.

Sounds like worth a punt especially for the emergency pair that lives in the 'epic rides' rucksack. Good for topping up orders for free delivery too!!

Even better, £2.49 for organic pads! I'm quite happy to live with quicker pad wear in return for stronger brakes.

Bought some sintered to try, arrived this morning. Type #8 looks right for my 2013 SLXs.

Anyone know if there is or was ever a 'new shimano' / type 8 organic pad? Seems to be omitted from the range.

I can say with absolute certainty that the sintered are not DH worthy. Squeal like a stuck pig, seem too hard and no feel. But I refuse to pay €35 for shimano for a weeks use
