Hi folks

I've just recently bought a Lezyne mini-gps which on the face of it appears to be pretty decent. However I've noticed that when I sync with Strava I'm getting quite a few "wonky" timings. Doing a wee bit of analysis I can see that my segment times are massive because they include the stationary time afterwards where we and my mates a buzzing and chatting away. So one segment for Flat White at the Golfie as me doing a perfectly acceptable for me 2:19 Moving Time but Elapsed Time is a whopping 6:08 which is what appears on the leaderboard ๐Ÿ™

My previous times when I was using my crappy Android phone/Strava App seemed to be fairly accurate but not getting the same with my Lezyne.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Learn to ride for more than two and a half minutes before needing a rest?

Sounds like you're not clearing the segment before each break. This could be due to sampling/recording frequency on the Lezyne. Is there a way to increase it?

If you don't leave the segment it'll keep ticking, that's standard. Even if you think you've left it (and segment start-stop points are rarely exactly where you want them) GPS error may well say you're still in

Top tip @scotroutes - will need to get myself out to the gym and work off more of that Christmas turkey, I'll aim for 2:45 in 2017, happy to set really challening objectives - lol ๐Ÿ™‚

So not leaving the segment makes a lot of sense especially when the obvious gathering point is pretty much at the exit of the trail. So basically once leave "finish"pedal away for a bit and properly "clear" the segment!

Cheers guys - awe the best for 2017!!!
