I'm gredually building up a 29er for the start of summer - just the forks to go (plus moving shifters/chainset/brakes etc. off old bike).
Any recommendations for forks for a Niner Air-9 - everything seems sooo expensive these days, looks like bog standard Rebas are the cheapest option at £300+....
I can't remember how to post a picture, but I have a Salsa Mamasita and it is the best mtb I have ever owned.

Well if you decide to sell the repaired one i may be interested in the future []
Well, as you now mention it. I have another bike on order... so it will be for sale. I had it professionally repaired - chap reckoned it should be stronger than original
Let me know when your ready to sell and how much. I'll give it some thought, no promises though as things are a bit tight at the moment 😕
Considering a 29er, just one question the majority of bikes I've seen are fitted with rigid/ carbon forks. Is this because the 29" wheel rides "over" bumps and hollows so well or is it that people tend to ride them over well graded tracks so no requirement for suspension fork.
I fitted rigid forks because it was cheaper, tbh. But the larger wheel definitely does smooth out some of the buzz that affects a rigid 26er. If it were my only bike I would stick suspension forks on it but I have an FS bike for anything I don't fancy riding a rigid bike on.
My favourite of (I think) 6 which I have now.
