Bit different here in Oz to do any event you need to join MTBAustralia and that gets you a club membership
Cradle Coast Mountain Bike Club - very broad range of stuff going on (the one I joined)
Launceston Mountain Bike Club (full of xc racers) - the local one
Hobart Dirt Devils - Bit of everything and organisers of the big social rides around

+1 Loughborough students CC

Around where I live (not where I study) I don't belong to a club but there is Treads MTB club (northants) and then there is CATS mountain bike club (Market Harborough). Tempted to join CATS as they seem like nice guys from the people I've seen at races and talked to the shop owner.

Was in Edinburgh Road Club back in the late 90's/early 00s then moved to Stirling Bike Club (when I moved house).

Currently devoid of any clubs and have been for 5 or 6 years now since moving to the Lakes and being Billy no Mates 😉 Not actually found a suitable replacement for the reprobates in Stirling as of yet!

Founder of the not at all infamous Mynydd Du MTB, a facebook based group. I hope that you can't follow us on Twitter anywhere. You will however find us enjoying life in the hills of South and Mid Wales. And other places too- North Wales, Scotland, Alps, Iceland and England too.
