Depends on what you want, the campsite already mentioned about Les Gets is great however with a family you will probably need a car. CAmping La Grange au Frene, 04 50 75 80 60 or 04 50 75 80 55

+1 for Alptitude. Stayed there this summer. Wonderful. A small thing worth noting however. How old are the kids. The stairs to the mezzanine floor are steep.
