any advice?
I'm thinking about changing my Taurine 1 from a headshock set up to a lefty ....... no particular reason other than I've never had a lefty!
anyone got any advice one way or another.
Plus . if I'm going to stray to the left . which lefty?
any advice would be much appreciated.

Leftys are very good - I've not used a headshok in years so I don't know how the modern ones compare, but I think you'd be looking at a substantial performance upgrade.
New leftys are extremely expensive - I'd get a second hand DLR2 on ebay - go for 2-300 depending on condition. Be clear on when it was last serviced. You then need a new front wheel of course to go with it.
Leftys are a strange combination of high maintenance and superb durability. They do need looking after and servicing, the servicing being difficult to do yourself, but if you do this they go on for ever. Very durable forks in that sense.
thanks Gary ..... figured the servicing would be tricky but then so is the headshok.
Did a bit of an enduro today ... Taurine was great, especially uphill but on the hardpack it shook me to bits .... think I might seriously look into the lefty.
Thanks for the advice, much appreciated.
