my left hand shifter was quite stiff other day (infact over last week or so become very stiff.... have loosend the tension down near the front mech but shifter still too stiff...: new inner gear cable then...am i right... its prob about a year old so cant grumble ..(lol) do you put few drops of lube down the housing too...
