Just spent a few hours at Lee and Cragg quarry near Bacup. What an excellent place!! ๐Ÿ˜€
The weather was fantastic and the trails dry, and fast. There were some bum clenching bits in Lee quarry ๐Ÿ˜ฏ especially those 3 big drops one after each other.
The ride up to Cragg quarry was a chore ๐Ÿ˜• due to a strong head wind.

Cragg quarry is just one very long BMX track. We loved it!! The decent back down to Lee quarry was brilliant ๐Ÿ˜€ Down wind and downhill with nicely placed large rocks allowing for some fast long(ish) jumps. It was only an hour from home and well worth it. It's a great place to practice jumps and trail skills.

Definitely recommend it if you're thinking of going.

Thought i'd share

Yup, great facilities, hope to resume visiting them during our periodic trips to the in-laws in Rammy soon. Always dinner-plate eyes on the first 3-drop run of the day!

Fine for beginners.

I used to drive my Land Rover around Lee Quarry before they sanitised it.

'smatterofact, I thank you again as I'm unlikely to ever get into another competitive event, the shape fatherhood has put me in...
