Help please

After my humble brag about going tubeless I have hit a snag.

My Nano 40c had an existing nick which I fixed with an anchovy.ย  The repair worked fine at 40 psi for a 60 mile towpath ride.ย  However last night I blew upto 60psi for a road commute today only to find this morning the repair has failed and my tyre was flat soft and sitting in a pool of Stans

Any ideas what I can do other than run at 40psi!

thanks

For such a pressure worm might not work.

I would patch tyre properly from inside.

Cheers!

I.

Some folk advocate stitching the tyre with fishing line then patching.

I didn't bother and put one of these emergency patches on last season.

The tyre is still holding air. I cleaned the surface first.

What size mushrooms do people buy (and how do you use the things?)

6mm. Rough the inside of the tyre. Vulcanising solution on face of patch and in roughed area of tyre. Let both dry fully. Pull through with pliers and press firmly.

You might want to enlarge the hole slightly and make it rounder with a rasp, file or drill bit.

and then trim off the wire?ย  Are they good to use on sidewalls as well as main tread?
