I know France.tv blocks VPNs but Sporza usually works for the CX racing so should work for the tour.

Where are people watching for free now that SBS is blocking VPNs?

Same for me. Adblocker never was an issue in the past but now it has to be switched off to access Sbscycling

I'll be going to S4C again (via iPlayer). I don't speak Cymraeg but at least it's live and not just highlights.

Just for the record, Rubio’s crash was in the last km. Full barriers along the route. The car driver posted on Facebook and was naturally pretty distraught about it.

Should be a great final stage. Remco has form, VdP has the power up mont matre and Pog had a rest yesterday.

Same. Regretting not paying more attention to Pobol Y Cwm, but it's fine with the sound turned down.

FANTASTIC to see that having finished the stage at Alpe d’Huez, rather than flying to Paris as they would have in previous years, the racers took the TGV from Grenoble! Who doesn’t love a bit of high speed train action?!

I see the route goes past the big Decathlon on Avenue Wagram, so if there's anyone with wardrobe malfunction issues, they can nip in for a replacement.

Sad to see this is Alaphillipe's last tour, he has been such a fixture, and his joy in helping Cav get a stage win on Cav's first comeback in 21 was a bit of a dusty moment

It's a good job the GC times have already been taken otherwise Isaac del Toro would be losing the white jersey due to that massive split in the peloton.

Shame that Pidcock is in that latter half too.

Wow, that kick at 300 and then again with 50 to go awesome. Does this mean Lantern Rouge can beat Beej's team with a late run??

That finale was worth delaying my ride for, how he held on was crazy, looked odds on to be mugged!

Sorry, bit late now, but I went for ARD in Germany....it sounds like the bar scene from Inglorious Basterds, but works well

Probably, half my team got injured. Or useless.

Fred Wright hitting the front on one of the climbs was nice to see. There was a funny interview with him at the finish where he admitted it was a bit of a TV attack and "the two aliens" as he described it came past him like he was standing still. 🤣

That was amazing. What a finale!

The crowds; Fred Wright on Montmartre; Pog & MvdP; the final 300m to the line.

Awesome.

Fred Wright... and "the two aliens"

Imagine being Fred - you'd be off to get that photo framed of leading them up there, with 3 world champions fronting the chase.

Every now and again MvdP does an effort that looks so deep it shortens his lifespan.

That is so true. That footage of him laying in the gutter was epic. He really knows how to dig deep to a level I simply can't imagine.

Amazing finish. I wanted Fred, but knew it wasn't possible, MvdP deserved that win.

Congratulations to Cvilla  top of the STW Velogames (563 out of 28,164 players).

I was in the top ten for most of Le Tour and ended up 15th.

That was a supreme move. Be sure of second and the second insurance win if they had all caught VdP. Seriously that was fabulous skill.

So happy MvdP won. Love a big strong boy doing it.

(Did think the yellow team bikes were a bit off. Bar tape only, surely?)

I was hoping Seixas would sneak the white jersey, but as someone has helpfully posted out, the GC times had been counted.

The crowds

The crowds along the route are fantastic

What is much less fantastic is the bunch of irrelevant "VIP" melts in the run off area after the finish line. Riders struggling to get through them then MvdP collapsed in a heap after a monumental effort with a bunch of gawping Instagramers standing over him with their phones

One day I will read how velogames scores the riders because how can Quinn Simmons have got more points than MvDP who won two stages

Very much this.

Also, say what you will about Pog; the guy is a bike racer. That was some Bruce Lee Vs Chuck Norris stuff.

Thanks Bunnyhop, don't know how I did it😉 maybe the training over the years from you lot 😂 also never know the velogames scoring so wait until the end! Chuffed as I didn't pick the two main riders vino or pog.

Agreed great end to the end of the tour, roll on Vuelta:)

There’s no bike racing to watch today. I am FUROIUS about ASO’s decision not to run the men’s a and women’s tours sequentially

True, but on the bright side we don't have to listen to that god awful commentary / studio / roadside team tonight - Hannah 'always standing in the way' Walker and whoever that bloke was shouting incessant nonsense every time the riders crossed the line especially.....silver lining and all that.

Contrast that to Ned Boulting, David Millar and Lizzie Deignan

I really enjoyed the different format and hosts on the Channel 5 show.

All we need is somebody saying "this happened yesterday, now let's watch today's action" and someone near the finish seeing the layout and crowd etc. Compare to the TNT style panel, where there's always a needlessly contrary view, sometimes a current Pro stood mutely in the lineup. I can bang on about how much I dislike the TNT commentators for hours...

Imagine if MvdeP had been told he had to lead out Philipsen ! Pogacar would has Done His Seated Closed Mouth Attack and l'd have booed the television.
