Awesome weekend just passed - Four passes followed by Langstrath and over Sprinkling Tarn/Sty head.

Unbelievably good.

I need to get back out into the hills..
Cheshire isn't bad, but I miss the hills!

Nice - two brilliant days out in the Lakes.
I haven't done the four passes for a while, but I did Langstrath, Stake Pass, Sprinkling tarn etc recently. You can see my write up and pics here (if you're interested): http://www.pinkbike.com/u/jimijazz/blog/a-lakeland-epic.html

Nice one! Stake Pass is properly brutal and well worth it as a descent, but Rossett Ghyll can be soul destroying going up. Next time, next time...

I have a feeling you typed that without sarcasm...and it makes me sad.

Nick, dust off the Love/Hate and come ride round my parts this weekend. that is not a sexual invitation.

Great weekend for lakeland riding. We were out round Hartsop and Ullswater and were equally blessed.

bit pissed off I didn't get out last weekend fortunately I have a pass for this weekend but I've just seen the forecast...oh ๐Ÿ™

Had the 4 passes on my to do list for a while, will manage it some day. Did justinbieber's route starting from langdale last year, first "proper" ride of the year and first lakes ride ever for 2 of the lads with us, so the 90minute Rosset Gill hike was a lovely intro ๐Ÿ˜ฏ
2 minutes into the sprinkling tarn descent everyone was all smiles tho

Nice pics no beer, fully agree about getting your eye in early doors.

Nice pics, I haven't been up to the lakes since October, I really need a fix now but not looking like I'll be back before my stag weekend in July.

Yep, I'd like to have had the opportunity to ride that Wharnscale bottom descent at the end of the day!.
