Strange shock mount off the seat tube, different.

You know when someone sneaks up on you and pokes you in the back of the knee and you end up buckling and just about falling over? That's what that shock and seat tube are doing. Put my 17st on the seat and ride it over some rocky terrain and that will break at some point. No thanks. Is the tallboy really the only choice as a 29er FS?

Looks like they are not going for a budget price point with that bike.

No, all the big manufactuers have at least one, do you live in a cave?

er... No

epic 29er
Anthem 29er
Salsa spearfish and horsethief
Niner jet , rip and the WFO
Ellsworth evolve

all very very good 29er FS bikes

the new rocky mountain looks rather good as well

Wow! Can we hire you? It'd be great to have someone that can do FEA and NDS on on an item by just beign shown a picture of it. Would save our engineers years of work!

If you want to pay me for breaking things that's fine, I seem to pay for the privilege myself! I would suggest that if you can't see that that is a flawed design beefed up with fugly "strengthening" then you may have to hire more "engineers". It is horrible and I would never be able to ride that with confidence because it just wants to snap. I don't care how many so called safety tests it passes, I break bikes with proper frames so I'd give that one zero chance of survival. Just my opinion, sorry if it upsets you.

I quite like this as an alternative (and I've seen it in action as a pretty nimble machine!)....
