Tomorrow myself and two pals are starting the, 'ahem' road ride from Lands End to John O'Groats.
We are doing it for 'When you wish upon a star' childrens charity over 11 days, averaging 80 miles per day.
Should you feel inclined to show your support please go to

The mods may delete this, but it was worth a shot.
Thanks Matt
good luck, first 2 days are the worst apparently
Should go from John O'Groats to Lands End its all down hill 😛
Skankin, you jest but it's easier going bottom to top due to the prevaling winds.
and the hilliest/hardest bit is Cornwall unless you ride up the A30
done plymouth to the lizard before i moved out of cornwall for work, was a good laugh
Best of luck. I did it 2 years ago and loved it. If you make it out of Cornwall and Devon, you'll be fine. Don't expect to get the wind at your back - we didn't.
hardest bit is the coast road up in the far north of Scotland
at 80m a day it should be fairly easy if you have trained and don't push too hard
I finished it on Monday afternoon, JOG to Lands End. Had head winds the whole way!! We did it in 10 days. You staying at Carbisdale Castle (near Inverness...ish)?
I think Clifton School in Cumbria (a6) is about halfway, depending on the route.
good luck 😉
There's a JOG -> LE Sportive next year. 10 days, £1000(!) and it's full already. Big marquee thing, loads of food at the end of each stage etc etc. Publicity blurb for it looks good anyway.
Good luck!
