Not sure if this has been done yet but in court papers just released Lance Armstrong says who did what to assist his prolific doping.

Do we believe him and does he really have it in for Emma O'Reilly?

Nothing left to hide? I hope some the rest are outed too, it only adds to the reasons for a truth/confess all process to get everyone out of the woodwork. Amnesty at this point and move on otherwise every year we will get another one coming out or getting dropped in the shit when someone else retires.

Was it lance or someone else who claimed a high testosterone result was because a masseuse/physio with an axe to grind had doped them?

I'm not sure but I reckon there will be a few people having some sleepless nights over these latest "revelations".

They've all got an axe to grind that's clear as day from watching 'the Armstrong Lie' don't believe for a minute that any of them decided to speak out to 'clean up the sport'.

Theres nothing new there with regards to ER, as part of her evidence she gave against LA years ago states that she collected drugs for him.
The nice* Mr Armstrong even set her up to go through customs carrying once.

* he is a piece of dirt.

Get them ALL out. Keep talking, people should have sleepless nights. After all Lance was outed by the bloke who never failed a test.

Yes, it is all Lance's fault, everyone else was an unwilling participant.

Except he's not really talking is he. Pepi Marti, Dr. Pedro Celaya, Dr. Luis Garcia del Moral and Dr. Michele Ferrari all have lifetime bans or are about to get them. Emma O'Reilly already admitted herself that she collected drugs for Lance, LeMond pointed the finger at Julien de Vriese years ago and Motoman was named and shamed by Hamilton's book. 0/10, must try harder Lance.

Absolute non-story just designed to rehabilitate Lance's image.

You all know that extreme doping has been going on since cycle racing started and continues long after Lance was retired.

All of the 'it was all Lance' bashers are both blinkered and naive.

There's plenty of history on here including the great Eddy Merckx, caught several times ...

It's worth a read.

Lance was a total fraud, and a nasty guy about it as well, but so were many, many others, a lot of them heroes to cyclists over many years.

I'm not apologising for Armstrong, but he is right that there needs to be some sort of Truth and Reconciliation committee so that it all comes out into the open and everyone involved can get the same punishment

Until that happens, the whole sorry saga, and all the cheats and frauds, will just keep on rolling on year after year.

The whole point of "truth and recociliation" is you give everyone who tells the "truth" a 6 month off season ban in return. There is no punishment, unless you dont tell the truth, which is how the whole rotten system worked, if no one tells the truth, no one gets a ban.

Lance's testimony is actualy better IMO. His motivation is "well I'm down, a few of you are sticking the boot in whilst I'm down, so I'm going to drag every last f****** one of you down here with me, untill everyones as banned as me then maybe they'll let me do Tri's again".

He is still a hero in my book, greatest cyclist ever. They were all at it, he was just levelling the playing field.

And he did so much to cure cancer. A legend. Just leave him alone.

Edit: ๐Ÿ˜‰

No alot quit/couldnt keep up.

Chris Boardman tested clean in his tour test.

When you realise those who loved cycling were churned out by the rabid cheats. Then you'll realise.

Hora, agreed but it wasn't just one person, it was the machine - the sport itself The teams, the trainers, the governance.

Who gives a flap what the lying cheat wants to say. The C word is adequate for Lance because that what he is in my opinion. Oh, C isn't cancer by the way.

Seconded!

You wouldn't post about Lance in the 'Bikes' section of a motocross or BMX forum, why do it here?

What goes on with the likes of Armstrong does have an effect on MTB though.

I can think is this lot straight away: Roland Green, Ryder Hesjedal, Jerome Chiotti, Christophe Dupouey, Filip Meirhaeghe, Roel Paulissen, Paola Pezzo.

Because MX (and even BMX) is a fundamentally different sort of bike, in the way a road bike isn't. Hence the easy crossover between disciplines - I don't believe anybody has been junior world BMX champion in the same year as being junior world mountain bike champion, yet I'm guessing you don't have a problem with posting about BMX in the bike section of the forum?

It's all (pedal powered) bikes.
