Any ideas on rides from Ambleside other than Garburn or Loughrigg? There tomorrow if any rides that would suite slow fat lad tagging along if also an option.

As for routes, I only know the Ambleside- loughrigg- Iron Keld- route around there... 😳
Have you considered extending Loughrigg to include Iron Keld, Hodge Close, Tilberthwaite, Chapel Stile (cheeky pint?), Red Bank, Terraces back home? Lots of everything!
Alternatively easy enough after a bit of road to go towards Latterbarrow and Claife.
Ride Saturday was cancelled due to my lass getting drunk night! Got out and did Loughrigg, Chapel Stile, Hodge Close and Arnside today. Short sleave shirt weather 🙂
lovely wasn't it. I got bullied into pushing a pram round Ambleside and looking in every outdoors shop for hours and hours, whilst staring longingly at the hills. Chilly though.
