Managed to get out yesterday in the afternoon for a quick ride. Was a blast, and lovely and dry ๐
Here is the vid, let us know what you think ๐
Reminds me of the best day's riding I had last year ๐
What camera are you using by the way?
Great riding isn't it! Camera is a Go Pro Wide, there brilliant!
nice vid , ditto on the cam mate
Ah, it was my last day out of 8 days riding in the Lakes and Peaks and I couldn't stop smiling after that last descent! Must get back...
Get back soon. Very dry at moment. Even cut Throat is dry, and very smooth/fast.
Got that section in a vid as well, but not online yet.
I'm not keen on it being sped up and twitchy as it is. It doesn't make the descents look to flow much or convey how long it seems to take to open all the bloody gates
The gates are the only bit which is sped up. Only did that otherwise you would be there watching me just open gates for ages ๐
nice vid! The camera really flattens some bits of the descents
Nice vid Will. I think it encompasses the quality of the descents around the varying loops of L'bower. My fave is the descent from Lockerbrook to the road. Super fast. Although logging has messed the approach up.
Might go and ride there this afternoon if I can sneak out of work and Cut Gate and Langsett is a definite for Saturday morning. You gotta love dry Autumns in the Peaks.
Would love to see the Rushop Edge and Roych Clough descents captured as I really enjoyed these last Saturday.
If its only the gates that are speeded up, then thats a pretty impressive speed you have down the beast.
that is very cool, but depressing as it highlights how crap and short my local trails are ๐
That's a good video, I've never ridden the beast at anything vaguely approaching that speed.
Hmm, to think the last time I was near Ladybower i was trail running.
*note to self get bike on train or pass driving test*
Thanks a lot guys ๐ I try to get teh videos a little mixed up, with a variety of stuff in them... If is a shame however that the camera makes the trails look easy!
Think that route is probably one of my favourite. I'm up there all next weekend as well so i'm going to ride around stanage on sat, then the usual jacobs on sunday, with a little bit of wharncliffe on sat night me thinks ๐
