Can anyone help every time I ride my bike my KS seat-post drops about 20mm can I service this myself and any advice on what is wrong?

its the one with the lever under the seat.

It's fubared you need to send it back for a warranty repair.

Which model of KS post? IIRC the real cheap one (sub £100) they did was known to drop like this and they marketed it as 'travel'. Does it bounce back up if you take your weight off?

Yes it does rise back up

Bought this from a French website xxcycle .com don't get very good reviews about there warranty returns and it will be most likely a warranty return as liftman said.

has anybody sent there posts back and if so what was the service like?

I sent mine back - it had started to drop and then wouldn't stay up. Communication was rubbish but it came back after a couple of weeks all sorted. Not had a problem since.

I've ordered from xxcycle and someone else on here had and had to return it for warranty work and had no problems with doing that

i was going to buy one of those about 2 year ago...many people on ere advised me not to !....constant servicing and things go wrong with them alot
