Anyone noticed any 'play' in their KS Lev posts? When holding the saddle I can 'slightly' move it forward and back and left and right and also twist it left and right. The post is 'just' 4 months old and has been faultless so I'd be surprised if the bushes were beginning to wear that much. I cant remember 'feeling' this play before...I'm maybe just getting a bit paranoid.
Also, is there somewhere on line where I can get a full strip down of the lev as opposed to the partial strip down video on utube? I've not stripped it down for any maintenance yet so I just want to have a good understanding of how it works before I start fettling with it.
Mine is two rides old and has slight play, it did from New. about the same as wife's reverb though so I'm not worried.
Hi there, I noticed the play you describe from new. It is worst in the forward/ back plane and was slightly concerned about it, but so far so good. Interested too in strip down info. Never had a dropper before - how often should you do this?
Mine has slight play when twisted along the axis of the post. Maybe 1-2 mm of movement at the nose of the saddle. I never feel it while riding. There has to be some space in the internal parts or they could not move.
And check that the collar below the seal on the quill is not loose.
