Anyone used one, any feedback?

Thinking of putting one on the rear to run big tyres at low pressure.

Currently running 35mm salsa gordo's

I have one on my Kris Holm 29er Unicycle, and it is great, but I don't think that will be much help.

If you think of the forces that the rims are put under with some Unicyclists they are going to have to be very strong, and a lot of Unicyclists like big tyres at fairly low pressures.

They are only 100g heavier than my Gordos.

I think the low pressures and tyre footprint/grip benefits might outweigh the weight increase.

massively strong............use em on 2 bikes, never had a problem.
they do make a tyre seem bigger. which is a good thing if you are a big bloke......... 8)

780g Sam for a rim twice as wide as a duster.

I run sub 25psi with 2.55s wtb's and tubes on the gordos without issues in terms of pitch flats and the grip and compliance is ace. I was able to run over roots and rocks at angles to the trail at kielder that were throwing others with suspension off line and it just sat on top of all the soft ground.

What I'd like is the rumoured (by drjon, I cant find ref. anywhere) 40mm wide Edge composites rim, but time and wallet will have to see.

I already have 80mm front rim with 3.8 larry at 6psi and I rate it's benefits over it's weight ( 2kg with tyre (1.1kg) tube,
disc)

2x9 running saint groupy my spaceframe is 28.5lbs with the fat front and 2.55 rear

I intend to go 1x10 xtr (I might keep the brakes cos their awesome, let's see what the new xtr brakes are like)
Which will drop 700g if I don't change the brakes, 1kg if I do, so I should get it to 25lbs or so.

Jeff always said weight isn't everything, It's taken a while but I now agree, I ride for fun. I could put stans flows on it, go tubeless, add a carbon bar and make it 21lbs but it wouldn't ride so sublimely through the rocks and definitely wouldn't grip and float like it does now + nothings ever broke in competition (Dyfi, SITS, Whinlatter, SSUK,Kielder)

And I still love the Pegasus, a different beast though, Pegasus + lefty, that is a wicked looking bike.
