headsets are headsets, king do the best, some others do good uns. I considered a king and then decided it add a value to the bike that was probably ott, so i went with a hope.. make a choice and pays yer cash, job done.

Thanks, I was thinking of the size/type really. I've done some MTB headset replacements so undertaking the work is fine just didnt want to buy the wrong type and end up with my bike off the road!

Jake the snake rider here - the green one, not that the type of bike makes a difference.

But I fitted a chris king headset in 2007, its not been touched in 7 years and still spins smoothly and I probably do around 4000 miles a year on the bike.

its 1"1/8 standard aheadset btw.
