I have a Hope light battery (2500mAh) that appears to charge in about 90 min but then puts the light into 'low battery' mode pretty much straight away. Is it gubbed, and is there anything I can do to fix?
Not a warranty job as it's probably 5yo, and probably wasn't stored correctly.

Aye, I'll maybe do that in the new year. I've just bought a new battery anyway, so I've one for each light rather than having to use the splitter cable.
