Blimey by the title of the thread it made me think it was closure, closure.

One of the nicest 'traditional' trail centres in the UK IMO

Hope the event goes well.

I was up riding Kirroughtree in July and as usual had a really good day there. I think it's my favourite trail centre.

I used to love Kirri but its been left behind by far better trail centres and the fantastic unofficial stuff being built around the country.ย  Great for families and tamer rides but seemed to be mostly climbing on fireroad or trails that in essence were inspired by fireroad.ย  I guess they just don't have the numbers to justify investing in more aggressive or "funner" trails.

I'm glad it's been left behind tbh, was impressed at how sympathetic the building works were. I love it for what it is, if I want something that rides different I'll go somewhere else, when I go there I'm glad it's still what it is

Really like kirroughtree but wasn't a fan of the relaying of the start few Kms where it's just smoothed over steps and lumps.
