Have you, would you?
I was thinking of heading up there for some 3pks training. I imagine thje rocky/stoney bits over near the border will be hell but the rest should be ok?

Some of it would be quite 3 peaks representative. The cross border route would be fine, rough yes but have you ridden off Whernside or Pen y Ghent? The hardest thing I've found is getting used to what you can ride down safely and what you need to get off for. Riding round the dead water on a cx bike would teach you that 🙂
