Hi Guys
can anyone recommend a double kickstand to hold a child's seat and baby.
i'm looking for a kick stand preferably a double for the partners mountain bike which will have the child seat mounted on the back for the daily nursery run. i'm looking for one which will hold a xl frame and obviously the seat and the baby (1 year old) while she gets off the bike to take little one out of the seat.
any recommendations would be grateful

Holds up our kiddyback tandem with no trouble.
another vote for pletscher .
not had a kid on mine but stable with my panniers on.
wouldnt be without it now - so handy.
bear in mind you get a delux and a standard fitting kit + an adaptor plate. between them you should be able to make it fit most frames. I needed bits from all 3 to get it on without squashing my stays. then you cut the legs down to length.
thanks guys ๐
Couple of quick things
- make sure you have enough clearance to fit one (I don't on the bike I was thinking about getting one for)
- make sure the chainstays are strong enough to take it
I've got the pletscher comp that fits between the seat stay and chain stay, at the rear wheel . I've been impressed with how stable it is as it's only a single leg. I use it with a trailer rather than seat though.
