I've just ordered a pair of these for the DH bike. They seem cheap for UK sourced black chilli. I'm suspicious that the description may be wrong. Do the black chilli tyres have this printed on the tyre wall?

No they don't! The normal fr/trail/xc tyres have "handmade in germany" on the sidewall for the black chilli, the dh tyres don't. Going by chain reaction there's a dh baron and a dh baron black chilli at £40 and £55. Going by that link you have the non black chilli dh version.
I think the code on the label on the tyre will tell you which model you have for certain. It's here for reference:

crap! Ive just ordered some XC tyres from germany, and I also had the chilli barons in the basket but decided to get these from the uk as they were marginally cheaper.But they aren't really chilli!
If I want to order from germany now and send Winstanleys back i have to pay the shipping again. crap!

Not my fault but still a pain in the arse, I tried calling winstanelys but was just too late. Will call them in the morning.
It wouldn't be so bad if I hadn't made an order from germany, 10 euro shipping which I will have to pay twice now. Ahhh well.....
