Just noticed my conti race kings are made in india. So much for german engineering. ๐
all oe and steel bead stuff has been made in india for about 5 years
Well im just about to find out what indian rubber is like. ๐ฏ hope my rubber is better than what they put on there 3 wheeled putputs lol
It's not, continentals cheap tyres are absolute crap.
tuk tuk
My OE Speedkings quickly went in the bin, lethal in the wet on any surface, wore down super quickly too!
:oops:Sorry for the gaff there should have been a tuk tuk. Thanks to rOcKeTdOg for puting me right ๐
Twister pros were excellent mind.
some of their auto and motorbike tyres are also made there IIRC, and a recent bike review I read concluded junk the OE (conti) tyres.
German engineering!! The company in india will have to comply to all regualtions that are relevant for Germany. They would have to have been audited as acceptable for such a high risk (people can get hurt) product.
Continental will be monitoring every delivery like crazy as they cannot risk selling faulty tyres. The tyres aren't expensive due to materials only you. Its all the other stuff that you have to pay for..
If what i say is wrong then im abandoning using tyres on my bike.
