Mens and Womens MTB available (got 2 mens), plus a load of track sessions if you don't mind spending a bit of cash.

Yep, they come up all the time. None this morning, then suddenly 15 athletics sessions, 9 track sessions, 2 MTB and the mens road race on the Mall.

It will often say "no tickets found" but it's worth clicking a few times, sometimes you get through.

Thanks - I tried yesterday but nothing. There are tickets available from French resellers also (you need a French address/card). I'm getting the feeling there are quite a lot of unsold seats.

Pleasure! I only noticed on Monday that fresh ones were coming up, and this is the first time I've seen cycling ones.

They seem to get loaded in batches, worth checking periodically and there'll be a load.

I reckon it's resales rather than purely unsold tickets.

Good PSA - Just got tickets to the rowing finals at Eton Dorney! Quite likely we'll get some gold there too!

I'm still trying to get a ticket... You'd think they might want the mountain bike media there. But no.

unfortunately it has become increasingly apparent this (and I assume previous) olympics isnt centred around sporting excellence its about the income of money and not a lot else...

Thanks!

Just got Tennis tickets. Wouldn't have been my first choice (beach volleyball, of course!) but the wife and eldest daughter suddenly announced they really wanted to go to the Olympics and they've got very into Wimbledon recently*. So that's what we got.

* My wife can't wait to see the men's semis tomorrow

Yes, I'm watching the site to do just that. Interestingly Essex Council have set up an alternative media centre for all of the local and specialist press (as in, all of them) who've been refused press passes to the mountain biking. All press passes come through the IOC and only go to international media.

I think that's fair enough with the media, there will be far too many to give away. ballot like others, it's not like its' "work" anyway 😉

Never worked that out frankly! I've gone for the expensive ones. There is a grandstand area, on the finish, I imagine the £45 ones get you into that.

@njee - road race tickets I saw were only for The Mall/medal ceremony not for Box Hill.

Nope, there was the Mall for the men, then later there was Donkey Green for the men, and Dormouse Drive for the women, Donkey Green now gone, I didn't manage to get any.

Thanks for the PSA!

Does anyone understand how more tickets are now available? I thought the whole point of the ballot is that all tickets were available then, and any left would be put into the second ballot for those who missed out first time around. However this doesnt seem to be the case!

2nd Ballot has been and gone a while ago,

A few tickets are being released for general sale as camera positions etc are decided, this some times means extra seats are available.

Other tickets are from the re sale scheme,

I just keep going back to see what comes up, most seem to be the pricier tickets but I have seen £50 seats for the velodrome and even £20 for the early morning atheletics so it seems to be pot luck on what is for sale when....

My Womans MTB tickets have arrived

When did you get them? Presume you had confirmation e-mail/text about delivery?

Struggling to find any way of contacting them?

I have a keen interest in many sports that are featuring in the olympics. But I don't care much for being messed around to the nth degree, so personally couldn't give a rats about the whole thing. Glad when its over and I can get back into London without having to que to get so much as a cup of coffee.
