At the risk of starting the whole debate again - as you say that room is full of big flat shiny hard surfaces that will cause loads of reflections. Does really make you think the people buying this stuff are idiots when they spend half a million on a sound system but put it in a completely unsuitable room.

As for porn, how about this?

Ned Rapier - What boards are those, I saw one in Whitefish last year, I NEED one

Those are Muira swallowtails, the chap has stopped making them, but they had the finest woodwork. Came at a price though, the board was called the "Mucho Dinero" ๐Ÿ™‚

Lots of other companies making swallowtails, Prior, Rossignol, Phenix, Swell Panik, Pogo...

If you're keen to give some a go, you owe it to yourself to go to La Grave and spend some time with Tina and Francky Moranval and try out the Swell Paniks (Tina's married to Kafi, who make the Swell Panik boards) Swell Panik) or Didi Haase/Snowlegend

Swallowtails are amazing in wide open powder, some are also amazing carvers on piste, and some are surpisingly easy to ride in more "challenging" snow.

I'd buy a Swell Panik Global, and/or a Prior Split swallow

Mmmm...
