So, issue 64 arrived on Saturday morning, excellent. I took the mag with me to the MOT test, and broused through it while awaiting the MOT man's verdict.

Have to say that when I got to page 60, I was both amused and disappointed with Chipps review of the Exposure Sixpack.

Amused with his closing line, it reads so closely to the one I have on my website.
Its a little tongue-in-cheek, but amused me at the time I put it up there, although I had no idea anyone at ST would visit my website, and as they say, imitation is a form of flattery. So thanks Chipps. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Disappointed though as Chipps appears to have failed to keep up with the numbers in light world. Understandable of course, he is the Ed. ๐Ÿ™‚
" And, doubtless, someone will break the 2K lumen barrier in 2011 "

2010 saw the wider emergence of 2K lumen lights like this, the model 701.

Furthermore, were I in the market for an Exposure Sixpack, I would hope that a magazine such as SingleTrack would report their experience on runtimes, with more info. At least one timed run of the light at, full power, until the battery ran out, would be useful for readers considering purchasing that light.
WMB reported something nearer 2hrs 35mins for the sixpack when run on its highest setting, so for now, that still remains the best real world indicator of what an owner can expect from their Sixpack, I suppose.

So, thanks to Chipps for his review of the sixpack, although perhaps it could have included a bit more detailed info.
For when you absolutely, positively, would like to know about a light, from and independant source.
๐Ÿ™‚

Cheers.
